The Post

Reporting directly to the Administration Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out a variety of tasks within the office in order to support the day-to-day operations.

Duties will include:

  • To share the core values of the business; Honesty, Pride and a Can-do attitude.
  • Assist with answering all incoming calls made to enitial and internal where applicable, connecting to the relevant person. Where unsuitable to connect or a person unavailable to record detailed messages to pass on to relevant member of the team.
  • General daily filing and photocopying within the department. Including printing and binding Induction packs for new starters.
  • Logging and distribution of incoming post and fax messages as they arrive to the relevant personnel. · General typing and filing as required by colleagues within the Monitoring Department.
  • IT skills to efficiently use Sage line 50, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, and Email.
  • Provide assistance with booking couriers for the Equipment Facilitator and Analyst team. Maintain courier booking logs. · Conduct weekly checks of our Lone Worker System
  • Conduct service or product research where necessary
  • Book accommodation for other members of staff when requested, working to a budget
  • Assist with cover in periods of absence of other members of the Office Admin Team
  • Support the Equipment Facilitator in logging and filing certificates and updating Calibration dates.
  • Carry out any other duties as specified by the Management of the Service to assist in ensuring the Service runs as smoothly as possible.

Applicants will be required to attend an Assessment Centre with Vision Apprentices as part of the screening process.
