Jepps Care has been supporting individuals with care needs to stay in their own homes for over 5 years. They deliver high quality care with improves the lives of their service users, it also supports their families and may be delivered over a short or long term period.

The service users may be elderly or may be recovering from an illness, injury or operation or may be someone who is living with a long term disease.

The service covers a wide area geographically although most of the service users are based in Nottinghamshire.

As you will be visiting service users within their own homes a DBS Check will be required and you will need your own transport.

The team at Jepps Care are now looking to support someone with experience in care who is qualified to level 2 to progress within their career.

This post is both field and office based and will lead to you gaining experience in the office side of the business and also your Lead Adult Care Worker qualification at level 3.

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has a naturally caring attitude, is passionate about raising standards within care, who is person centred and keen to progress into a supervisory/management role.

You will have a workplace mentor and full training will be given to support you in your role.

The day to day duties will include;

  • Delivering high quality care to users within their own home, this may include personal care including undressing, dressing, washing, bathing and toileting needs
  • To promote mental and physical wellbeing
  • To carry out domestic tasks within the home
  • To read and carry out duties as detailed in the care plan
  • To record information in line with the companies code of practice
  • Once trained, carry out Supervisions of Personal Assistants, to mentor new staff, spot check to ensure service levels are met
  • Office based duties will include, Care Co-ordination, Care Plan Reviews, and providing information regarding services offered.

Applicants will be required to attend an Assessment Centre with Vision Apprentices as part of the screening process.
