AM Packaging was founded 17 years ago by two business partners. Initially they sold their stock by working the Mansfield markets, hence the name which they thought of because they had to get up very early in the morning to make it to their market pitch!

Skip to 17 years later, the husband and wife directors are proud of the business growth so far and excited by the prospect of further growth in the future. Their business is driven by exceptional customer service and the ability to listen and take chances. They ensure their products are competitively priced and aim to be a one stop shop for their loyal client base.

Not only do they supply locally but they have a fantastic online presence bringing revenue to the business from all across the UK.

They have recently moved to new, bigger premises right next door to Mansfield Woodhouse train station making getting to work really easy. The business continues to grow and as such they are happy to be able to offer another apprentice an opportunity to join them this year.

  • Answer business telephones, dealing with general enquiries and taking effective messages when appropriate
  • Welcome clients and visitors to the business premises ensuring they are made to feel welcome and understand any health safety requirements
  • Answer customer email enquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Create and send customer invoices using the internal Sage system (with full training)
  • Picking and packing goods as per customer orders
  • Preparing deliveries for dispatch by packaging correctly and attaching correctly prepared labels
  • Understanding stock control and stock management
  • Exploring new products alongside the company directors
  • Using social media to promote the services of the business
  • Update the company database as required with client details and order trends
  • Understand the e-commerce side of the business by working alongside other staff members who manage the Ebay side of the business
  • Create listings on Ebay when full trained to help the continued growth on this platform

Applicants will be required to attend an Assessment Centre with Vision Apprentices as part of the screening process.
