Deanestor design, manufacture and install quality furniture in the UK and also supply loose furniture and equipment. We specialise in furniture manufacture for markets that have specific requirements in design, strength, durability and aesthetics. With bespoke design services we can meet your specifications and provide an extensive choice of materials and finishes.

Main Duties:

You will also be expected to use proven fault finding techniques and to contribute to the continuous improvement of the manufacturing process in order to maintain and improve standards.

  • To support operational processes to ensure KPI's are achieved
  • Manufacturing of products to customer specifications using specialist machinery, CNC machine, Milling machine, Pillar drills, Panel saw, Cross Cut Saws and Wood working machinery
  • Package & despatch promptly customer orders in line with company procedures and to a high standard
  • Manual handling of materials in goods inwards and outwards within the Production facility
  • To present a professional image at all times
  • To carry out all work practices in line with company health and safety policy
  • To contribute to overall success of through teamwork and good communication within the company
  • Demonstrate ability to work unsupervised
  • Time management, ability to manage time effectively, prioritising tasks and working to deadlines
  • Drive and determination to get things done, make things happen and continually looking for better ways of doing things
  • To carry out any other duties as deemed necessary to fulfil the job role

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Familiar with hand tools, battery drills, sanders, tape Measure and air Tools
  • Flexible approach with a keen interest to learn
  • Ability to understand works instructions, both verbal and written
  • Teamwork, ability to work confidently within a group and on own initiative
  • Demonstrate ability to work unsupervised
  • Time management, ability to manage time effectively, prioritising tasks and working to deadlines

Applicants will be required to attend an Assessment Centre with Vision Apprentices as part of the screening process.
