  • Support with all Customer Service department functions
  • Answer all incoming calls promptly and dealing with them in a professional manner
  • Assist with breakdowns, ensuring all information is recorded accurately
  • Carry out the booking of the department van checks.
  • Ensure stock held at 3rd party repair agents are monitored
  • Carry out stock checks regularly and document all findings on the AS400
  • Address positive changes with the goal being customer satisfaction and zero breakdowns
  • Assist the controllers and quality inspector with booking in of small refurb projects gathering information for engineers where needed
  • Manage administrative tasks for the department
  • Monitor our web-based systems
  • Alert superiors of any findings requiring attention.
  • Liaising with colleagues, customers and other businesses within Dawson Group
  • Any other ad-hoc duties to support the customer service function


  • Good communication and organisation skills
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Basic computer skills required


  • Health & Safety consideration will take priority in all instances and must always be observed
  • A positive hardworking attitude is a must for the role
  • Alert senior management to potential problems in good times recommending proposed action plans

Applicants will be required to attend an Assessment Centre with Vision Apprentices as part of the screening process.
