To provide accurate and timely admin support to ensure the Accounts Payable Department provides an effective service to the staff and management of the Company.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join our Finance Department based at the Oakwood site, Annesley, Nottinghamshire.

Our two-stage apprenticeship programme will see you initially complete a Level 3 Business Administration qualification. This will give you an insight into how administrators handle the day-to-day tasks in an office and make sure things run smoothly within a high-profile department.

Once successfully achieved, you'll have the option to start your career in Finance with completion of a Level 3 Finance qualification.

With the support of our apprenticeship partner, West Nottinghamshire College, you will receive formal training in the form of one to one workshops within your workplace from the West Nottinghamshire College specialist along with your OneFile learning platform where you will upload your portfolio of evidence and task reflection, whilst at the same time learning all aspects of the administration life cycle within our Account Payable team. Every day is guaranteed to be different and you will have a structured development plan to become a success within Yusen. The successful candidate will learn about the systems used within Yusen and develop skills in communication, team working, customer focus and problem solving while adhering to Finance processes and procedures.

Your Duties Will Include

Please update for the Accounts Payable role

Accurate distribution of mail.

Accurate distribution of email and responsibility for Accounts Payable shared mailbox

Document scanning and validation.

Reconciliation of Supplier statements.

Communicating with suppliers.

Providing general administration support to the Accounts Payable function.

Working in other areas of the Finance Department to expand learning opportunities.

Completion of any other ad hoc duties as required.
