Business admin opportunity in this expanding company, you will be part of a small team in a newly leased office in Pure Offices (Annesley) my client is looking to advance you from this apprenticeship to an Energy Consultant.

Compliant EPC Limited is an established energy and sustainability consultancy providing a range of energy and compliance related services to the construction industry and property market. We work within both the domestic and commercial sectors, providing energy assessments and consultancy to our clients to help them achieve compliance on their particular project, along with also providing energy assessments for a range of different building types and requirements. Our client base ranges from architects, builders, contractors, consultants, local authorities, estate agents, solicitors right through to private clients

Your duties will include:

Creating databases using Microsoft Access.

Dealing with tenders and quotations.

Invoicing customers.

Invoice logging & general accounting.

Payment chasing.

Logging client data & information / creating customer accounts and adding them to our system.

Customer service - Point of contact.

Potential client - data gathering.

Writing and sending out reports and information to clients via email and letters.

Creating and maintaining evidence files for projects.

Diary management for staff.

Workload management - Keeping up to date with job status and managing deadlines for active workload.

Writing up reports and interpreting data provided by staff.

Proof reading outbound work.

Data gathering and collation from inbound drawings, reports and information.

Optimising procedures and systems in place.

Further training on / off the job training for your apprenticeship.

Construction methods and building techniques.

Specific product and building materials.

Part L building regulations and the requirements.

Part F building regulations and the requirements.

Part G building regulations and the requirements.

Carrying out energy assessments using several different software packages.

3D modelling using several different software packages.

Be able to accurately interpret architect and building plans and information.

U-value calculations.

Domestic building surveys for a range of different assessments.

Commercial building surveys for a range of different assessments.

While this is predominantly an office based role, upon completion of your apprenticeship this will become varied in terms of location as you will eventually be required to carry out building and site surveys on a national basis and attend client meetings as and when required. Once the surveys have been carried out you will be required to accurately input the surveyed information into the assessment software and typically, then provide consultancy to the client with a view to helping them find a compliant solution for their project.

You will have the chance to gain further qualifications within the sector to support you moving into a Full time employed position.

Applicants will be required to attend an Assessment Centre with Vision Apprentices as part of the screening process.
