Vision Business are working in partnership with Dacrylate Paints Limited to recruit an apprentice to work within the Procurement and Finance departments.

Dacrylate are looking for an administrator with a keen interest in purchasing and/or finance, an urge to learn and a can-do attitude, the previous post holder excelled within this role and has been promoted internally and is now studying for a level 4 professional qualification.

You will be integral to a growing team and your role will entail working with various areas of the business, providing you with a perfect stepping stone for a successful career with us.

You will study for Business Administration qualification at level 2, you will have the support of a workplace mentor and will also receive regular workplace visits from your college assessor.

All our purchasing and finance operations are carried out in-house, therefore the successful applicant will be exposed to setting spending limits, cost saving and cost avoidance measures, purchase requisitions, invoicing, revenue reports, budgeting and financial planning as well as general business administration.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Assist with the production of company reports
  • Support all procurement and finance activity, including raising purchase orders, checking the status of orders or invoices.
  • Ensuring systems and paperwork are kept up to date and data is entered accurately
  • Processing invoices and credit notes
  • Assist in providing efficient administration support to the Finance and Procurement department
  • Assisting customers and suppliers with queries
  • Take part in business projects.
  • To contribute to the general running of the office and to support other colleagues as and when required.

Applicants will be required to attend an Assessment Centre with Vision Apprentices as part of the screening process.
