Schools Advisory Service is the largest provider of staff absence insurance for schools in the UK with over 20 years of education specific products & services. Staff absence policies offer medical & wellbeing services for insured school staff and other insurance products such as offsite activities insurance, computer insurance and minibus insurance.

Schools Advisory Service are looking to recruit an apprentice marketing assistant to help create new digital marketing content for print, socials, web and mobile app related platforms. You will be part of a growing Marketing team that handles generating and updating marketing materials.

Based at their head office near Junction 28 of the M1, they can offer the successful candidate a full-time position working 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

You will undertake daily activities involving, but not limited to:

Creating new design concepts for use in print and digital marketing.

Make updates to design files and update staff & platforms where appropriate.

Follow up on marketing feedback from approved person and manage materials outstanding.

Identify amendments required to website and app, liaise with external team that manage content to ensure tasks are completed in timely manner and to the standard required.

Generate and schedule mailshots.

General office duties related to the marketing role including conference scheduling, obtaining and maintaining market knowledge and working in a proactive marketing role.

What you'll have:

Good understanding and proficiency with Office and Outlook.

A-C GCSE qualified (or equivalent) in Maths and English or other related subjects.

Keen interest in digital marketing, art, design with a desire to learn.

Willingness to take initiative to solve problems

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Passion for working in a lively and collaborative team.

Ability to remain calm and organised during busy periods in a high pressure environment.

Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is essential (including but not limited to Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator). Any experience using any of WordPress, Adwords and Google Analytics is desirable.

Previous digital marketing, or art / design experience is essential.
