Short description

Travis Baker is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic apprentice to join their technical team based in Nottingham. If you are computer literate and have good communication skills and able to think logically, this will be a very rewarding position.

Full description

Travis Baker was established in 2006 to provide a high quality service as professional consulting engineers. Since then the company has grown strongly and we are now able to provide a full range of integrated engineering services throughout the UK.

Their primary objective on all projects is to provide clients with the most cost effective and sustainable solutions.

As a Transport Planning Apprentice, you'll gain practical experience in addition to your professional training, and you'll receive all the support you need to succeed in your career as a Transport Planner.

Ideally, you'll need to have some existing skills to bring to us. For example you'll have great communication skills, and know your way around a computer - especially Microsoft Office. You'll also be confident working with colleagues and clients - all at different levels. But most importantly, you'll need a keen interest in transport!

As part of a dynamic, growing team you will be working on a range of interesting and challenging projects, relating to traffic and highway issues associated with new, predominately residential developments. You will contribute at an early stage to the design of new transport and highway infrastructure, assisting with the preparation of drawings and technical reports.

Please note that the wage for this apprenticeship is National Minimum Wage for the age of the successful candidate.
