Key responsibilities:

Based at our client's purpose-built premises in Shirebrook, you will form part of an experienced automation team responsible for the installation and commissioning of our client's new equipment ensuring all elements of their fully automated sortation, storage and robotic systems are in excellent working order.

The ideal Apprentice Automation Maintenance Engineer will be able to demonstrate:

  • Working towards a HNC in an Electrical Mechanical biased qualification,
  • A strong work ethic and a desire to learn,
  • The ability to follow instructions and work with Health and Safety guidelines,
  • Excellent communication skills,
  • IT literacy,
  • The drive to be an outstanding engineer.

In return we will support you through your apprenticeship qualification and pay a starting salary of £6.25 per hour (depending upon age) + benefits including: Paid Overtime and pension with employer contribution. In order to provide 24 / 7 cover for our client the hours of work are a standard continental shift pattern which includes nights.
