Precision Inks (UK) Ltd T/A Precision Films was established in 2008, we are a well recognised distributor of lamination film to the printing industry. Working with global manufactures to deliver the best possible products to print finishers across the UK. We are ideally located in the centre of the UK working with a national transport network to meet the day to day demands of our customers. The company provides a wide range of lamination films for a variety of different desired finishes.

The company is a small family run business with currently 5 members of staff. We have previously taken on an apprentice in an administrative role who has now been with us fours years on a permanent basis. As the role will involve working within a small team the ideal candidate should be expectant to work in close proximity to other members of staff and cooperate with others in their daily roles. There will be room to grow within the role from the basic day to day running and maintenance of the warehouse to the stock management and procurement side of the business.

The business would like to create a working environment that can still encourage growth within the role as the successful candidate can take on more responsibility and have a greater impact on the business. We would suggest a starting at a wage of £4.50 per hour with the target of £4.75 per hour after three months, £5.00 an hour after 6 months if the internal reviews are positive and we feel the successful candidate is deserving of the reward.

Warehouse Operative duties and responsibilities:

Initial Duties and responsibilities

  • Picking and packing within the warehouse environment
  • Stock rotation and warehouse maintenance (e.g. cleaning)
  • Continual personal development
  • Coming up with new ideas to improve your job role and the business
  • Inputting deliveries onto the transport system
  • Tracking deliveries to ensure timely arrival
  • Ensuring health and safety guidelines are respected in the warehouse
  • Managing the Goods In function of the business

Applicants will be required to attend an Assessment Centre with Vision Apprentices as part of the screening process.
