Portland College is based on the A60 at Harlow Wood, between Mansfield and Ravenshead, it is a vibrant, national college for people with a wide range of disabilities and associated learning difficulties.

This role is to provide a high-quality service to support the Team Leader in the Quality Data Administration department.

Your main areas of work will include administrative support to department managers, Data base management, record keeping and maintenance and minute taking and report writing, you will receive training in all of these areas.

You will be supported via a workplace mentor and regular visits from a specialist to enable you to complete a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Customer Services.

Your day to day duties will include.

  • To provide administrative support to all Learning and Teaching Managers and Quality and Data Team as directed by the Team Leader, Quality Data and Administration to an exceptional standard
  • Recording of staff absences across the Learning and Teaching department
  • Production of high-quality documents and reports for internal and external bodies
  • Invigilation of exams as and when required
  • Maintain information boards and bulletins for Learning and Teaching staff as directed by Team Leader, Quality Data and Administration and Quality Improvement Manager
  • Be responsible for stationary requests and the signing in and out of equipment
  • Support with petty cash requests

Pay Scale: National Living Wage for age.
