Jigsaw Foods was established in June 2008 when the Directors bought the assets of DF manufacturing. The company operates from two sites in the Mansfield area, one specialising in the manufacture and packing of marinades, mayonnaise and sauces; and the other specialising in using cryogenic technology to freeze various food products including garlic/flavoured butters and melts.

Role Objective

To optimise property condition and quality and to ensure that the buildings and equipment on site are kept in a safe working condition.

To ensure compliance as an individual of both company and legislative Health and Safety policy, procedure, standards and regulations at all times whilst on site.

Assisting the Facilities Maintenance Engineer to facilitate the maintenance of the site for all non-production related services, specifically wastewater treatment and steam boilers also including power, water, chilling systems and waste. To help to ensure a good impression of the site on all team members and visitors. Assist in control and co-ordination of contractors, ensuring site procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities

• Identifying and completing Building fabrication repairs and projects in line with company standards.
• Maintenance of the full grounds in line with company standards.
• Basic Electrical duties in compliance with the company standards.
• Completing basic plumbing tasks.
• Complete basic carpentry and decorating tasks.
• To ensure all preventative maintenance schedules are completed in a timely manner.
• To complete all required administration as dictated by the role.
• Conduct risk assessment on all processes and tasks, implement countermeasures and mitigation plans to address identified risks.
