With the whole packaging process catered for in-house, they can provide the complete journey from design through to production on extraordinary packaging that meets exact needs.

With 140 employees currently, Simply Cartons Limited are pleased to be in a position to welcome an apprentice to join the team and to create a valuable learning journey that stops only at your own limitations.

Working in our warehouse means a varied role, one where you will learn many skills from our existing team.

Your development within the role will depend only on you - we have the desire to help you progress.

To begin with, your role will include:

  • Being aware of health and safety - not only for yourself but for others around you. Keeping the warehouse environment tidy helps to minimise risk of harm
  • Waste management - ensuring that you dispose of waste in a way that meets the companies environmental commitment
  • Using technology to identify orders and to print relevant documents required for their dispatch
  • Picking and packing order items from various storage locations
  • Assisting with goods in - ensuring that deliveries to the site are managed efficiently and stored correctly as required
  • Working on samples of work for clients including drop tests (how easily damaged is the packaging) and product packing tests (how easily does the product fit into the designed packaging) and providing relevant responses on required documentation

The company would like you to know that they are committed to the ongoing training of their employees. Everyone is offered ongoing training to ensure they are able to conduct their work effectively and safely. When confident and comfortable with the duties within your role, they are keen for you to know that there will be the opportunity for further training, including fork lift training so that you can enhance your abilities within the role and the wider company.

Applicants will be required to attend an Assessment Centre with Vision Apprentices as part of the screening process.
